Technology Programs

In 1967, computers were first introduced to the school community.  Today, from coast to coast and even around the globe, Cincinnati Country Day School is recognized as an international leader in technology.

CCDS is a wireless laptop community.  Students are introduced to computers in our early childhood program through grade 4. In grades 5 through 12, every student receives a TabletPC. These Microsoft/Toshiba computers have been integrated into the curriculum at every level and are used to create, synthesize, analyze, calculate, and communicate. There are more than 700 working tablets on campus during a typical school day. Students leave CCDS with a tremendous technological skill set that allows them to think independently, analytically, and critically and prepares them well to enter an ever-changing global society.

But preparing our students for the modern world is only the beginning. Three times a year, during our Tablet Conferences, educators flock to our campus from places as far away as Thailand and Australia, to states as wide ranging as Florida and Texas, to local schools both public and private—all in the pursuit of capturing the educational power of CCDS’ benchmark one-to-one technology program.
