The festivities started with a pep rally at the football field on Friday afternoon followed by our traditional FallFest celebration for the students. Before FallFest was over, the Alumni Reception started at the Broadwell House with a large crowd of returning alumni, teachers, and friends. Next it was on to the football stadium to watch CCDS take on rival Summit. The Indians didn't disappoint, with a rousing 21-0 victory. Halftime was very special with our Distinguished Alumnus, Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees, and individual state champions driven into the stadium and around the track in convertibles to the delight of the crowd (Honorees below).
The traditional CCDS Alumni 5K Run kicked off the Saturday festivities. It was easily the largest group of community members ever for the race.
The Alumni Luncheon was a very nice event, well attended, where we had the opportunity to honor those listed below.
