Shadowing

A shadowing program is available for all prospective students in grades 6-12 who have applied to CCDS. The program is designed to give new applicants the opportunity to spend the day attending classes with a current student in his or her current grade level or the grade level in which he or she will be entering upon enrollment at CCDS. This is a great opportunity for students to meet others and to explore the academic, fine arts, cultural, athletic, extra-curricular, and technology programs at CCDS.

Those interested in a shadowing experience must arrange a date and time with the Admission Office three to five days in advance to ensure that there are no tests being taken on that day, to pair appropriately prospective students with one of our student ambassadors, to inform our faculty of the visit, to reserve a Tablet PC for the student, and to make lunch arrangements with our dining services. This advanced notice makes it possible for the prospective student applicant to have an informative as well as enjoyable visit.

Please contact Melonee Ridgeway at (513) 979-0236 or to arrange a shadowing experience.

Class Visitations

Class visitations are available for students in grades 3-5 who have been accepted to CCDS. We recommend half-day visits for these students that can be scheduled in the morning or afternoon; these visits typically include lunch. Students will have the opportunity to participate in all classroom activities that will include academics as well as specials such as art, foreign language, physical education, and music.

Those interested in a class visit must arrange a date and time with the Admission Office three to five days in advance to ensure that there are no tests being taken on that day, no field trips have been scheduled, and that faculty have time to prepare a desk for the student. This advanced notice makes it possible for the prospective student applicant to have an informative as well as enjoyable visit.

Please contact Jennie Spencer at (513) 979-0219 or to arrange a class visitation.
